I attended Typecon 2008 at Buffalo, U.S., organized by Society of Typographic Aficionados. It was an amazing gathering of experts in type, design, and the related disciplines. I started with a lettering workshop with Steven Rapp and a workshop on TypeTool, followed by 3 days of presentations. The event was concluded with a visit at the Roycroft in East Aurora, U.S., that was a reformist community of craft workers and artists, which formed part of the arts and crafts movement in the USA.
