DJ Shadow played at Metropolis on October 13th, 2006. He showed his music in solo performance, but also in cooperation with two singers (rap and pop) who were accompanying some of his music.
The video screenings which were featuring the whole show were of a big variety of styles. There were real documentation movie scenes, i.e. a girl in the subway or monitoring cameras. There was also 3-animated videos or collage-style animations. The screenings ranged from organic to technical forms, the messages from neutral to political. Not missing a drowning George W. Bush.
