+ Montreal's Metro stations have areas, indicated by a tag with a symbolized harp, where musicians may perform: The project will be based on analyzing these places with Montreal's underground musicians. It will be a collection of photography, video, texts.

The musicians come from very different backgrounds. Concerning the level, some are music students, others amateurs. So is the quality of the music they provide. For some the purpose of performing is fun, for others making money is even more important. The genre of music varies as well: There can be found a large scale of cultural variety from classical music to street music.

The purpose of the project is not only to find out more about the musicians background, but the web will be for the musicians a kind of showcase which gives them the chance to promote themselves in a way. It is also a showcase of the cosmopolitan Canadian culture.
